Todd is a 1998 graduate of Dutch Fork High where he was a 4-year varsity lettermen. Todd was a team captain and helped lead Dutch Fork to back-to-back Final Four appearances in '97 & '98 and was the team's leading scorer in '98. Woodward played collegiately at Spartanburg Methodist before transferring to Clemson. Todd earned his degree in Elementary Education at Clemson, and his Masters in Education at Southern Wesleyan University. Coach Woodward helped begin the varsity program at Swansea High School before serving as an assistant coach at Irmo High School. Coach Woodward served as an assistant coach at Dutch Fork High School for 4 years before becoming head coach. Todd also coached at Columbia United FC. Todd’s wife, Sharon, is also a Dutch Fork graduate.
